But no caution flag

I've been looking for a picture that explains my frustration regarding the finish of Sunday's race and I FINALLY found one.

Seriously, I've been so angry that I couldn't even compose myself long enough to post on this blog about it. The more I wrote, the more pissed off I got.

So here it is...the PERFECT picture.

EXPLAIN TO ME NOW...WHY WAS THERE NO CAUTION FLAG?????

Comments:
thanks for the visit... I'm near lake george.

i agree with you and that pic is proof

i'll visit daily

I feel your pain 3 G's...

The problem I have is "when" would have been the right time to throw the yellow?

So let these 2 gladiators battle to the checkered....and Happy won!!

PS...when Martin took the white, I was praying he would win, I had no clue Harvick had the horses to go to the outside, but I do think FranceCar made the right call.

Maybe Mark will run the entire series and win the title, that would be a fitting end to a great career!

I tivo'd the Harvick channel on Directv. Even had the yellow been thrown at the exact moment of the accident, Harvick would have won. I went through it frame by frame and he was ahead of Mark by inches when the turmoil began and stayed that way. I think they didn't throw the flag because the accident was behind the leaders and they were so close to the finish line. I think NASCAR made the right call and there would have been no differance in the winner had they thrown the flag.
The other thing is...unfortunately, Mark Martin's Natal chart life lesson is too learn to be happy with second place in many things, and to learn acceptance and joy with what he has done. It is also about being just happy with what his life is and see the effects his choices regarding his dissatisfaction with his performance has on others who are close to him...his family.

The incident earlier in the race--I can't remember who spun--but it seemed a long time before the yellow came out, is the one that bothered me.
I don't think that a caution at the end of the race would have made a difference, but the delay on the earlier one made the accident bigger.

blah, blah, blah
